WHAT IS WATER EXERCISE?
Water exercise is a low-impact activity done in the pool that takes the pressure off your bones, muscles, and joints. There are many types of classes you can take. Some of our favorites include:
- HYDRO JUMP: incorporates the use of special trampolines made for the pool
(Water fitness instructor Sherri Freifelder helped develop this program!) - AQUA BOOTCAMP: a high intensity water fitness class that provides the benefits of a pool, with little to no impact on joints
- AQUA HIIT: a non-stop water based workout that will get your heart pumping & burn calories
- AQUA JAM: a fusion of cardio, kick boxing, and dance, created by instructor Sharlie Peterson
